Create quiz banks for each quiz after quizzes are created and populated. Easy!

I had a situation where I wanted to create quiz banks to attach outcome to in Canvas. The problem was that the quizzes were all created from the single Unfiled quiz bank.

How do you create quiz banks without retyping?

Export all of your quizzes:

1. Go to the Settings page.
2. Click Export Course Content on the right side menu.
3. Select Quizzes from the export type menu.

This will create a zip file that you can download the create a zip file that can be downloaded.

Now click Import Content and select QTI Zip file for the content type. Be sure to click the question mark next to Overwrite assessment content with matching IDs so you can make a decision as to whether or not to overwrite the IDs.

This will automatically create a new set of quizzes which each have a corresponding quiz bank associated with them.
